Contributing Writer

I am a freelance writer whose main interests are magic, psychology, and literature. I have several years experience as a working magician and a first class honors degree in English Literature. My overriding passion is for performance, particularly magic with a strong leaning toward psychological illusion (or "mentalism" to use the technical, but rather antiquated term). I have written for numerous publications since graduating from University and the bulk of my articles to date have been on the subject of magic, stage performance, conjuring techniques, and the history of the craft. When I am not writing or performing, I enjoy reading popular science books, composing for the guitar, and long distance running.
